CECH Document Templates are Now Available!
I don’t know about you, but I have been asking for sample compliant documents for CECH activities for a while. I’ve created my own as a framework that I use with my clients but I kept wondering why CPME (Council on Podiatric Medical Education) had not issued sample documents to give us an idea of how they prefer these required documents to be laid out.
Sure, they tell us all about what’s required to be included in the document, but gave no insight into a preferred format. Well, the wait is over!
CPME has released sample templates for the following frequently used documents:
Commercial Interest Agreement (Letter of Agreement)
Take some time to review the documents and compare them to what you’ve been using. It’s likely very similar but there are a few things in each that I really appreciated having included and I’m glad we have something to work off of now.
I do have a couple of questions about them so look for my next email which will breakdown the sample templates and discuss my thoughts.
For now, a big thank you to CPME for putting these together and making them easily accessible. A framework for us all to use as a standard will help us be more compliant and make the entire educational process more streamlined.
